Well here we are, the radishes have done it and not a moment too soon.  As expected, it took just about one month and this bunch was ready for harvest.  After our first two experiences with Red and D'Avignon radishes, we thought we knew everything, but little did we know how special this bed really was...

Lies, Lies and More Lies: A Story of the Truth

This past weekend Matt and I harvested, washed and delivered some delicious spinach.  We've decided to fill you in on the truth behind this harshly misunderstood green.

Spinacia Oleracea (I love saying that by the way, it just rolls off the tongue) has many varieties, two of which we touched upon this week: Red Cardinal and Regiment. Spinach is rich in many nutrients including calcium and iron, but contrary to popular belief, Popeye was just a damn liar.

There's Always More Room In The Tub

Spring is here and as you can see the greenhouse looks phenomenal.  The soil is warming up and everything is already growing faster than during the winter months.  It's amazing to see these changes occur in such a short span of time.

Due to one hell of a traffic jam, things started off pretty slow.  Unfortunately, a couple of wheelbarrows tipped over and some enormous tree logs ended up right in the middle of the street.  Just an ugly scene as you can see it was a pretty serious backup.
